Hey class,
I posted the latest CCS Storyboard on lake online (blackboard). Go over and take a look at it. It may take awhile to download. In it, I have changed the order of the slides to make more sense. I also added new pics for the informed consent and outcome forms slides, and put in the lastest revision of the script. You can find it with the storyboard AND on buzzword. It’s labeled “Script (4-14-08)” and it contains new script to the introductory (welcome to the CCS) slide as well. I will be using this latest script to record Rohnn’s voice for our rough draft video. That is all for now.

This looks great! I talked to Cesar and we need to set up an appt to use the computers for the pinnacle software. So, after we get Rohn’s voice we can set up an appt to put it all together! It shouldn’t take long at all because we will not have to edit much. I think we are ready for the Spanish version. What do you think?

Class, I think the script and storyboard looks great! Great job everyone! It says what we are about, what we are trying to convey with this video, and invites clients to already begin therapeutic change through the goals slide. I also like the simple language.

I just reviewed the script and I copy what Karri said — I think it looks great. I added a couple of comments so please review.

Daphny and class,
Please DO NOT make changes to the script on buzzword, but rather on the storyboard on lakeonline (blackboard). This is the script that I will be giving Rohnn to do the voiceover so he knows what picture is associated with each of the lines. Thanks.

Oooh. Sorry! I thought it would be fine because above you noted a distinct new title for the buzzword document!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just finished working on a rough draft of the first video or animated slide show. I used Windows movie maker to do it. I will bring it to class and we can look at it and see what we need to do to make it flow better.
I did it with the most recent voice over that Rohn did so its a bit stilted but its still relatively pretty good. It came out better than I thought it would. See you tomorrow.

I just viewed the video and it looks great! It’s nice to see what the final product of everyone’s hard work looks like.
One thing, though, that I would add is a picture of what the “team” looks like behind the mirror. I think that concept can be very scary to clients and so maybe seeing a picture of the team talking behind the mirror might be helpful. There was a good one on file with Cathy that I had picked out for the video. You might want to check with her.
Also, I liked the consistency of the pictures throughout the video. It began with the blue screen with the address and phone number of the CCS and it ended with that. I think that iterates the contact information which is essential.
Rohnn’s voice is clear and appropriate, except for one minor slip-up.
Also, I think it might be better if there are titles that pop up with what Rohnn is going to talk about next, like “Making Future Appointments” instead of him saying it. There were 3 or so areas where he stated the topic that he was going to talk about, at which time it might be more helpful and flow better if there was a title that popped up stating what he was going to talk about. Just an idea.
Again, good work. It looks great!
